“I found your attitude toward your body—gentle, respectful, even loving—really moving. It challenged me to consider whether I could feel the same about mine. You create such an inclusive, grounded space where everyone feels welcome, regardless of ability and you explain things with care and clarity. That kind of permission-giving is rare and powerful.” - Andrew
You’re here because something isn’t quite right.
Maybe your nervous system is stuck in overdrive — jaw tight, breath shallow, sleep fractured.
Maybe you’re living with a background hum of stress — not loud but constant.
Maybe you’ve outgrown the fixes that used to work and want a practice that meets you where you really are — physically, emotionally, spiritually.
I’m Emily — a yoga therapist helping stressed and sensitive adults in midlife shift out of survival mode and into a state of vitality, calm and reconnection.
My approach draws on ancient yogic psychology — not just for relaxation but for real transformation. Together, we work across three essential layers of change:
🌀 State
We regulate the nervous system through breathwork, movement and guided relaxation — helping you feel safe, centred and at home in your body again.
📖 Story
Through sankalpa (heart-felt intention) and affirmations, we reshape inner narratives — softening self-judgement and planting the seeds of a new self-concept.
🛤️ Strategy
Using sadhana — a personal practice anchored in rhythm and meaning — we craft rituals that honour your capacity, your season of life and your deeper truth.
This is yoga as it was meant to be:
Rooted in wisdom. Backed by science.
Sensitive to your story. Powerful in its results.
With over two decades of practice, formal training with the British Wheel and YogaCampus and a lived experience of midlife transition, I meet you not just as a professional — but as someone walking a parallel path.
If you're looking for a practice that honours your full humanity — not just your body — you're in the right place.
If you'd like to receive a monthly email with practices, links to my blog and updates about Yoga offerings and events both online and locally then drop your name and email address below.
